Ashley L. Heilingoetter, MD, MPH
Dr. Heilingoetter was initially drawn to Otolaryngology because of the spirit of collegiality within the field, the intricate anatomy of the head and neck and the breadth of procedures aimed at improving quality of life. She felt at home within Pediatric Otolaryngology, where she has had the privilege to work with children and their families to treat a spectrum of diseases. The partnership formed with patients and families while navigating disease processes has been the most satisfying part of her career.
Dr. Heilingoetter earned her Doctor of Medicine from Rush Medical College, her Master of Public Health in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Michigan and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Illinois Wesleyan University. While in medical school, she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She completed her residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at Ohio State University and her fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Northwestern/Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital. She is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery.
Dr. Heilingoetter is excited to practice in the Chicago area and be near family as she and her husband raise their children. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, being outdoors, baking, traveling and adventures with her husband, two kids and dog.
